Long Shots: The U.S. Biathlon Underdog Story recently won multiple Telly Awards, including gold in the “General-Documentary” category, honoring impactful documentary storytelling, and silver in the “General-Sports” category, honoring excellence in sports coverage and storytelling.
Long Shots: The U.S. Biathlon Underdog Story is an intimate documentary that follows the U.S. Biathlon Team’s journey toward the 2026 Milano Cortina Olympic Winter Games. Through exclusive athlete interviews and never-before-seen footage from training camp in Midway, Utah and World Cup 1 in Östersund, Sweden, Long Shots pulls back the curtain on the preparation, pressure, and passion that define life on the road to the Olympics. Long Shots also won silver in “Craft-Editing” category, honoring meticulous cutting, pacing, and narrative refinement, and “Craft-Show Opening Segment”. The documentary also won bronze in the “Craft-Editing” specialty category for the editing of the piece.
