Midway, UT - U.S. Biathlon announced today the members of the 2026-27 Senior National Team, U26 National Development Team, and Junior National Team.

“We are heading into this next Olympic cycle with real momentum,” said U.S. Biathlon Director of High Performance Lowell Bailey. “The 2025-26 season demonstrated that our long-term investments are paying off, with historic medals, breakthrough performances, and measurable progress across all levels of the program. We have tremendous confidence in this group of athletes and the direction of the team as we continue building toward sustained success on the international stage. Congratulations to all of the athletes named to these teams -we’re proud of what they’ve accomplished and eager to see what they can achieve in the seasons ahead.”

With the departure of Head Coach Armin Auchentaller following the 2025-26 season, U.S. Biathlon underwent a search process to complete a coaching staff restructuring ahead of the 2026-27 training and competition season. The organization is thrilled to have Mike Gibson as Women’s National Team Head Coach, Emil Bormetti as Men’s National Team Head Coach, Raleigh Goessling as Head Development Coach, Matt Emmons as Head Shooting Coach, Justin Wadsworth as Head Physiology Coach, and Brian Halligan continuing as Junior National Team Head Coach.
