Message from Bob Hall, Chair, U.S. Biathlon

This statement concerns the failure of the USBA to provide its membership with sufficient notice of the meetings of the USBA Board of Directors which took place at its offices in Midway, Utah in March 2026. With regard to the March 25-26, 2026 Board meeting, while the Board, at its October 2025 meeting determined to meet again in March 2026 as reflected in its published minutes of that meeting, no notice was emailed to the membership as has been, and continues to be, our practice. With respect to the Board’s April 29, 2026 Board Meeting, a link and notice of that meeting was not posted on the USBA website for its membership to access. I regret that the organization did not give appropriate notice to members of the March and April Board meetings, and we will endeavor to do our best to make sure that this does not occur again in the future.
