U.S. Biathlon is proud of our growing masters biathlon community and excited to provide updates and information.

While our U.S. Biathlon clubs are introducing the sport to youth & junior skiers, many biathletes are introduced to the sport of biathlon much later in life, as adults. Many of those late adopters fall in love with it, and work to “master” fitness involved in cross-country skiing and the technical skills involved in precision rifle marksmanship, and so become a part of this wonderful masters biathlon community. It is an absolutely addicting, and incredibly rewarding endeavor. There are U.S. Biathlon clubs that offer extensive training and race opportunities for masters biathletes, and most U.S. Biathlon events around the country welcome the participation of our masters athletes to be able to participate in the sport they love.

It is our intent and desire to serve as a conduit for information regarding masters biathlon, so we will share information on racing and training opportunities around the country, and around the world as we learn about them. Masters biathletes are encouraged to become engaged with a local U.S. Biathlon club and to visit the U.S. Biathlon Center for education content and courses that may be of interest.
