NEW GLOUCESTER, Maine (April 13, 2021) – The US Biathlon board of directors today named the following athletes to the National Team and Junior National Team for the 2021-22 season.
National A1 Team

"An Olympic season is one of the most important times in an elite biathlete's career,” said U.S. Biathlon Director of High Performance Lowell Bailey. “This coming season, with Beijing on the horizon, we are happy to have many returning veterans on the team as well as newcomers who will undoubtedly be pushing the pace within the training group. Congrats to all of the newly nominated athletes.”

This will be U.S. Biathlon's biggest Junior National Team to date,” U.S. Biathlon Director of Athlete Development Tim Burke stated. “I look forward to watching this group grow together and push each other to a higher level. It's an especially exciting time for this team with a home Youth and Junior World Championships scheduled for next season in Soldier Hollow, Utah. I'm excited to help this team reach their personal best for these home world championships.”
