New Athlete Representatives Elected to US Biathlon Board

New Gloucester, Maine: The US Biathlon Board of Directors is happy to announce the election of two new athlete representatives to be seated immediately on the Board. Rachel Steer and Max Durtschi join current representatives Kelly Kjorlien, Jake Brown, and Sean Doherty as USBA Board Athlete Representatives.
The election of two new representatives comes after changes to the bylaws required by USOPC to increase the percentage of athlete representation on National Governing Body Boards and Committees. Eligible for election for these seats were any athletes who had competed for US Biathlon on a World Championship or Olympic Team. Rachel Steer was a three-time Olympian, most recently in 2006, while Max Durtschi was a 2019 and 2021 World Championships Team member.
