U.S. Biathlon Unveils New Logo and Brand Identity Reflecting Evolution and Growth
Midway, UT (September 29, 2025) – U.S. Biathlon today unveiled its new logo and brand identity, marking a significant milestone in the organization’s continued growth. The refreshed look embodies both the rich tradition of biathlon in the United States and the bright future of the sport.
The new identity reflects the strength and momentum of U.S. Biathlon: the next generation of athletes guided by veteran leadership, a robust development pipeline and thriving grassroots community, and a strong base of Foundation members, partners, donors, and fans. Together, the community is united under a shared vision for a forward-looking future and a culture of excellence anchored in the organization’s core values of respect, grit, and a growth mindset.
“Being part of the rebranding process was a really rewarding way to engage with our community,” said Lina Farra, U.S. Biathlon athlete. “I gained perspective on some of the history I didn’t know and so much excitement for where the organization is headed. Seeing the new brand come to life this year feels like a little extra wind in the sails for another great season for the team.”
U.S. Biathlon partnered with Walden Hyde, a Colorado-based branding and design agency, to refresh its identity. Known for their expertise in outdoor sport and values-driven branding, Walden Hyde guided the creative process to shape a brand that authentically reflects U.S. Biathlon and its culture of excellence. Spearheaded by the athletes, the result is a system that honors the sport’s unique blend of endurance and precision while providing the flexibility to evolve with the organization for years to come.
“U.S. Biathlon’s new brand reflects the evolution and momentum of our organization and the sport," said U.S. Biathlon President & CEO Jack Gierhart. "This process was shaped by our athletes, whose vision and commitment to excellence are at the heart of our future. We extend our appreciation to the team at Walden Hyde for their dedication to this project, and I am excited for what’s to come as we continue building a strong future, moving forward together.”
“We’re proud to partner with U.S. Biathlon on this important project. The new brand embodies the energy of the sport and the organization’s forward-looking vision, creating a bold and flexible identity to engage athletes, fans, and supporters across the country,” said Robb Shurr, CEO and Co-Founder of Walden Hyde.
The updated logo and brand system will roll out across all U.S. Biathlon platforms in the coming weeks, including digital channels, events, team uniforms, and merchandise. To learn more about the new logo and brand look, visit usbiathlon.org/brand.
