2026 U.S. Biathlon Summer Event Calendar
U.S. Biathlon is excited to announce the 2026 summer domestic event schedule, which features the U.S. Biathlon Summer Championships Series, consisting of race weekends in each of the three contiguous U.S. regions: West, Midwest, and East, and culminating with the annual Summer National Championships in Jericho, VT, our largest gathering of the U.S. Biathlon community!
"We have had over 200 athletes compete in our Summer Championship Series each year since its inception in summer 2024,” said U.S. Biathlon Director of Sport Development John Farra. “There continues to be interest and excitement for summer race opportunities, especially during a time of year when there are fewer conflicts with international racing and domestic cross country ski races, so we expect this series will continue to see excellent participation in summer 2026!”

May 30, 2026 - International Biathlon Day
IBU and U.S. Biathlon encourages all clubs to find ways to celebrate the sport we love in any way possible! Examples: hosting club building activities, biathlon clinics/try-it opportunities, trail & range work, and community social events.
