All Eyes on Antholz: Everything You Need to Know

The U.S. Biathlon Team is officially on Olympic time. Tomorrow, February 2, Team USA heads to Antholz-Anterselva, Italy, the Olympic biathlon venue for the 2026 Milano Cortina Olympic Winter Games, for final training preparations ahead of the biggest competitions of the quadrennial. The team will arrive in Antholz after spending the past week training fine-tuning the details just a few valleys over in Ridnaun-Val Ridanna.

Momentum is firmly on the Americans’ side. The U.S. Biathlon Team enters the 2026 Olympic Games with more depth than ever, having proved to be a podium threat, with relay depth and athletes capable of contending with the world’s best. The goal is clear: win the first Olympic medal in U.S. biathlon history.

A Team Ready to Compete at the Highest Level

Team USA’s Olympic biathlon squad features a blend of veterans and Olympic first-timers who have delivered top performances throughout this 2025-26 World Cup season. The team members set to represent the U.S. in Antholz are: Campbell Wright, Deedra Irwin, Margie Freed, Maxime Germain, Luci Anderson, Paul Schommer, Joanne Reid, and Sean Doherty.
