Athletes Selected for 2026 East Regional International Competition Trip

The selections have been made for the 2026 East Region International Competition Trip, including Lillehammer training camp and ASKO Cup racing in Norway. It is hoped that this initiative will offer athletes valuable international racing experience beyond the traditional IBU Cups and IBU Junior Cup circuits.

The team will train in Lillehammer from March 3 through 8, and while there, have combined training sessions with Team Consto, a very strong Norwegian club based in Lillehammer. They will travel to Grønkjær, Norway on the 8th for a few days of training and then racing in the ASKO Cup at the end of that week. Athletes will have the option of staying an additional week to attend the World Cup finale in Oslo before returning to the US ahead of the 2026 U.S. Biathlon Senior National Championships and Olympic Festival. 

U.S. Athletes include Logan Moore, Tim Cobb, Matej Cervenka, Sarah Beaulieu, Emma Stertz, Hannah Chipman, and Haley Finch.

U.S. Coaches include Wayne Peterson and Twan Adriaanse.

The ASKO racing program will include a Sprint on Friday, Pursuit on Saturday, and Mixed and Single Mixed Relay on Sunday.
