Son of Todd and Karen Westervelt, Bjorn grew up in Stowe, VT. He has a younger sister, Annalise Westervelt. He began biathlon at the age of 13 in Craftsbury and is now training with Craftsbury Biathlon and Algis Shalna. Bjorn enjoys backcountry skiing, mountain biking, mountain running, playing with his dog, and eating!
