Unaffiliated

I am a former Soldier Hollow Nordic biathlete who picked up the sport as a way to stray from classic skiing during an acute back injury. Now I am rather head-over-heels for this sport and thoroughly enjoy the inconsistency that I so often experience in Biathlon. No matter how many hours of training I put in, Biathlon has a way of being unexpected and I love the excitement of that. I am a Utah girl at heart, but now I train in Lake Placid, NY, where my family has roots, which makes for a wonderful environment to keep this pursuit going.

Outside of biathlon, Lina enjoys cooking.

She used to wake up at 3am to work as a cookie baker before training at Soldier Hollow while she was in high school!
