Sidney is the oldest daughter of Steve and Jamie Bennion. She has a younger sister and brother. Sidney was first exposed to XC skiing through her elementary school when she was in 5th grade. She loved it so much, that she chose to join the local xc ski club, Team Soldier Hollow, the following winter and stopped competing in moguls and freestyle skiing. Sidney began biathlon in 2018 and continues to be on Team Soldier Hollow for biathlon and trains with Park City Ski and Snowboard for cross country. When Sidney is not training, you can find her charging down the slopes at our local ski areas. Sidney also excels at mountain bike racing and golf and participates on both of these teams affiliated with her high school.
