USBA MASTERS COMPETITION GUIDELINES

COMPETITION DISTANCES AND COURSES

• Masters Men –
  • All Age Groups will race the same course as the Senior Women except Senior Veterans II who will race the same course as the Youth Women.
• Masters Women –
  • All Age Groups will race the same course as the Youth Women.

 

AGE GROUPS

• For both men and women, the following age groups will be raced 
  • Master          30 - 39
  • Senior Masters            40 - 49
  • Veterans                  50 - 59
  • Senior Veterans    60 -  69
  • Senior Veterans II    70 and over
• For both men and women, there will also be an Exhibition group at each competition.  This group is for biathletes under the age of 30 who, by choice of the biathlete or the coaches, would be better suited to race with the Masters age groups on the Masters courses.
  • This is a non-medal event.
