IBU Cup Trials in Craftsbury Qualify Five Athletes for Olympic Timed Trials in Antholz

The recent IBU Cup Trials at Craftsbury Outdoor Center in Craftsbury, VT qualified five athletes to compete at the upcoming U.S. Biathlon Olympic Time Trials at the 2026 Milano-Cortina Olympic biathlon venue in Antholz, ITA, January 2-5, 2026. 


The U.S. Biathlon-run timed trials will feature six women and six men vying for the final two Olympic positions, per gender. The International Competition Committee (ICC) officially named the 12 athletes to compete in the timed trials, which includes two men and one woman from World Cup 3, two men and two women from IBU Cup 3, and two men and three women from the IBU Cup Trials:


WOMEN

Chloe Levins - objective, World Cup 3

Luci Anderson - objective, IBU Cup 3

Joanne Reid - objective, IBU Cup 3

Kelsey Dickinson - objective, IBU Cup Trials 

Grace Castonguay - objective, IBU Cup Trials

Jackie Garso - discretion, IBU Cup Trials


MEN

Sean Doherty - objective, World Cup 3

Paul Schommer - objective, World Cup 3

Jake Brown - objective, IBU Cup 3

Bjorn Westervelt - objective, IBU Cup 3

Vincent Bonacci - objective, IBU Cup Trials

Vasek Cervenka - discretion, IBU Cup Trials


Open European Championships - Sjusjoen, NOR 

The final two athletes per gender on the roster for the Open European Championships have also been nominated by the ICC. The remaining four athletes per gender will be determined following the outcomes of European-Based Olympic Selection Races in Antholz on January 5.
