U.S. Biathlon Sees Largest Gathering of Coaches at 2025 Conference

The 2025 U.S. Biathlon Coaches Conference saw its largest gathering of coaching in person in Lake Placid, NY May 30-31. The Olympic and Paralympic Training Center hosted 38 coaches from around the U.S. for two days of learning and sharing knowledge both in the classroom and out at the range.

Attendees participated in 11 different presentations and demonstrations, ranging from ski technique and training tactics to health and wellness, including detailed review of performance data related to National Team athletes progression.

Carrie Aprik - Team Nutritionist, United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee

John Madigan - Ethan Allen Biathlon Team Director, Eastern Regional Coordinator

Holly Brooks - 2x Olympian (Cross Country Skiing) & Licensed Professional Counselor

Annika Pasch - U.S. Biathlon Team Athletic Trainer and Medical Coordinator

Sara Studebaker-Hall - U.S. Biathlon Dir. of Operations, IBU Technical Delegate, 2x Olympian

Ethan Dreissigacker - U.S. Biathlon Rifle Care Consultant, Owner of Lost Nation Research & Development

Armin Auchentaller - U.S. Biathlon National Team Head Coach
