Team Soldier Hollow / Team Altius
Anna French began competing in biathlon in 2021 after a successful collegiate running career at Montana State University. Since then, she has represented the U.S. Biathlon Team in multiple IBU Cup events. She currently trains with Team Soldier Hollow, dividing her time between Bozeman, MT and Heber City, UT. She is deeply committed to athlete advocacy, focusing on promoting athlete safety and wellbeing and ensuring policies are equitable for all athletes. She is passionate about elevating the athlete voice, ensuring athletes lead conversations about the culture and policies that affect them. As a member of the U.S. Biathlon AAC, she is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and empowering team culture, promoting mental health resources, and ensuring transparent communication within the U.S. Biathlon community. Outside of biathlon, she is pursuing a PhD in freshwater ecology and volunteers as a Firefighter/EMT with her local fire department. Fun facts: Anna has a mini Australian Sheppard named Arrow and her favorite snack is ice cream and sprinkles!
