Roster Finalized for Final Three IBU Cup Stops of 2021-22 Season

NEW GLOUCESTER, Maine (Jan. 29, 2022) -- The U.S. Biathlon International Competition Committee has finalized the U.S. roster for the final three IBU Cup competitions of the season. The eight athletes selected will compete at IBU Cup 6 (Feb. 3-5) in Nove Mesto, Czech Republic, IBU Cup 7 (March 3-6) in Lenzerheide, Switzerland, and IBU Cup 8 (March 10-13) in Ridnaun-Val Ridanna, Italy.
"Congratulations to the qualifiers for IBU Cup 6-8,” said U.S. Biathlon Director of High Performance Lowell Bailey. “USBA is pleased to be able to field a full team for these final IBU Cup races and wish our athletes the best of luck over the next competitions."
Chosen for the men’s IBU Cup team were Luke Brown (St. Paul, Minn./Craftsbury Green Racing Project), Vasek Cervenka (Grand Rapids, Minn./National Guard Biathlon & USBA), Max Durtschi (Ketchum, Idaho/Team Crosscut & USBA) and Scott Lacy (Aspen, Colo./Team Crosscut).
The women’s IBU Cup team will consist of Kelsey Dickinson (Winthrop, Wash./Craftsbury Green Racing Project), Tara Geraghty-Moats (West Fairlee, Vt./Craftsbury Green Racing Project), Hallie Grossman (Craftsbury, Vt./Craftsbury Green Racing Project) and Amanda Kautzer (Plymouth, Minn./Team Crosscut).
