“Four More Years.” Maloja Extends Its Sponsorship of the U.S. Biathlon Team and Unveils the New World Cup Collection for the Season Start
Rimsting, November 2025 – Maloja is extending its partnership with the U.S. Biathlon Team, a collaboration that began in 2018, for another four years. Last Sunday, the team traveled to Rimsting for the official outfitting, marking the start of the new season. For Maloja’s design team, it was a special moment after months of dedicated work on the collection.
The look of the complete team kit draws from the familiar U.S. colors—blue, white, and red. This year, Maloja placed a stronger focus on white and softened the classic tones into a gentle gradient. The transition brings a calm note to the strong biathlon color palette while offering a clean and modern interpretation that reflects Maloja’s design language.
Developed specifically for the demands of biathlon, the collection will accompany the team throughout the 2025/26 World Cup season — all the way to the 2026 Olympic Winter Games. With 90 pieces, it covers every part of the athletes’ daily routine: from technical race suits and training gear to quiet, functional streetwear for the time between sessions.
For the team outfitting, Maloja also welcomed other sponsoring partners such as Lapua, Ariens, Auto Eder, Deuter, and Roeckl to the headquarters in Rimsting. A shared moment that reflected the close collaboration between all involved and strengthened the anticipation for the upcoming season.
"Our collaboration with the US Biathlon Team has never been a traditional sponsorship—it has been personal from the very beginning. At our Dressing Day here at Maloja, we once again felt how close we have become to the team. Every competition is eagerly followed here in the office. It has therefore long been clear to us that we would extend this sponsorship for another four years, and we are delighted to be able to announce this decision just in time for the start of the World Cup," says Bernd Eisenbichler, CEO of Maloja.
"Over the past seven years, Maloja has become an inseparable part of who we are as a team," said Jack Gierhart, President and CEO of U.S. Biathlon. "Their understanding of our athletes and the demands of our sport shows in every detail of the gear we wear. Their commitment to quality, innovation, and continual improvement mirrors our own pursuit of excellence. What we’ve built together is a true partnership grounded in shared values—respect, grit, and the belief that we can always improve. Their gear helps us perform at our best and reflects the spirit of our team. It’s no surprise that our kit has become one of the most recognized and envied on the World Cup tour. We are incredibly fortunate to have a partner who feels like family, and we’re proud to continue this journey with Maloja through the next Olympic cycle."
With the World Cup opener on November 29 approaching, Maloja and the U.S. Biathlon Team look ahead to an intense winter—shaped by trust, respect, and the joy of being outdoors.
